Hello Everyone,
NEER is having an auction to help raise funds for one of our rescues.. . . The Trick Horse Noir.
Noir is a 9 year old black 'Trick Horse' that closely resembles the horse used in the movie "Flicka", he was a broker horse at New holland, saved from the possibility of going to slaughter by Anne Dillenbeck. We assume that he ended up at the broker's because of numerous sarcoids. NEER is now trying to raise the money to treat this condition.
NEER member, Sean Gannon, has hand-made a stained glass Black Rearing Horse to auction off as a fundraiser for Noir. This piece is 8.5 x 11 inches, a one of a kind signed piece, made specially for Noir. 35% of the proceeds go to Noir's treatment costs.
The start date of this auction is Jan 14 and will end on Feb 3. Bidding starts at $70 (value of piece is $125). We hope that you will support NEER in the effort to successfully treat Noir.
All bids should be emailed to Renee at...
High Bidder: Nancy Drumm...$180!
And $20 from Eli the black rescued mule in Miane, to make it an even $200!!
Congrats Debbie!!!
