My husband and I are quite impressed by your website. We are memebers of the Georgia Equine Rescue League in Georgia and we will forward your information to our board. We all need to help eachother. Keep up the excellent work.
caryl, Would be happy to answer and thrilled to be in the Voice for Animals newsletter but we need your contact info. Please email beth at fatoldfarmwife@verizon.net Thnaks!
How do you acquire horses? Do people surrender them? Are you told about them by others? I would like to put info about you in our next Voice for Animals newsletter but I don't want to inundate you with requests you cannot accommodate. There are free horses all the time in Uncle Henry's and I have heard of some being tied up in the woods to starve. Can I pass on to you info about free horses in Uncle Henry's? I am not trying to pressure you to do something you would not ordinarily do but if it would be possible I want to ask anyway.
If people would like to help, that would be awesome!! We need ANGELs!!! Please see the ANGEL page, and pick a horse to help, that would be great... thank you! (:
I am so very touched at the stories of Dagh and Fever, and I wondered if Vetricyn could help Dagh's feet - it is a fabulous wash for horses. I would be happy to tell you more if you haven't heard of it .. Congratulations on the work you are doing. Bev
I was looking around on your site and came across my horse on your Placed/Updates page. I adopted Zanzi the starved and abused appaloosa from Cedar Oaks Equine Rescue. Thank you for helping Sarah to find Zanzi. She has completely turned around and is the best pony ever! If anyone knows anything about her past please email me, meghan1106@gmail.com Thank you so much!! Thank you NEER! I can't imagine my life without Zanzi (:
I happen to see the special on the horse drawn buggies in NYC last night and was appalled. I was alwas a horse lover and used to ride many years ago when I was younger. If there is some small way that I can help these wonderful animals, please advise.

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for all you do for these wonderful loving animals. I myself have two horses (one that I've owned for 10 years now, and one I purchased two years ago) that possibly had an uncertain future and I could not let that happen. They both are absolutely amazing and I am looking at adopting another one from a rescue...
I just wanted to Drop a note and say THANK you NEER For everything you and All your staff and Angels and Foster homes do, I think that people who abuse their animals should have to feel what it is like to be on the abusing end. I have Rescued many animals from Cats, to dogs and to a couple of horses my self, So Thank you for getting the word about the slaughtering out
I am looking to adopt two horses for my teenage daughters, They are home schooled and I work eves. so we would have plenty of time to give TLC. We have been preparing for over a yr. now and my daughters volunteer at a local therapeutic horse farm as part of their preparation. We are all intermediate riders and just love to trail ride. Most of all we are just looking for lifetime friends that enjoy spending time outside together. Age is not really important as long as they are healthy and rideable and calm 1-3 temperament. We would be able to make payments if needed and would give a great home. We are located in Bowdoinham, Maine
I came onto your web site by accident . We are a family of horse lovers involved with the adoption and training of wild mustangs. Located in Estacada, OR. As BLM volunteers we have had over a dozen mustangs thru our barn. Keep up the good work. The horses need you!
I unfortunately ran into some financial problems and can no longer keep my horse. I am heartbroken to have to give him away, but I want to make sure that he goes to a good, loving home. For more information, please contact me at amedeiros1@umassd.edu. Thank you!
