How do you acquire horses? Do people surrender them? Are you told about them by others?
I would like to put info about you in our next Voice for Animals newsletter but I don't want to inundate you with requests you cannot accommodate.
There are free horses all the time in Uncle Henry's and I have heard of some being tied up in the woods to starve.
Can I pass on to you info about free horses in Uncle Henry's?
I am not trying to pressure you to do something you would not ordinarily do but if it would be possible I want to ask anyway.

I am so very touched at the stories of Dagh and Fever, and I wondered if Vetricyn could help Dagh's feet - it is a fabulous wash for horses. I would be happy to tell you more if you haven't heard of it .. Congratulations on the work you are doing. Bev

Thank you for helping Sarah to find Zanzi. She has completely turned around and is the best pony ever! If anyone knows anything about her past please email me, meghan1106@gmail.com Thank you so much!! Thank you NEER! I can't imagine my life without Zanzi (:

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for all you do for these wonderful loving animals. I myself have two horses (one that I've owned for 10 years now, and one I purchased two years ago) that possibly had an uncertain future and I could not let that happen. They both are absolutely amazing and I am looking at adopting another one from a rescue...

I have Rescued many animals from Cats, to dogs and to a couple of horses my self, So Thank you for getting the word about the slaughtering out

I am looking to adopt two horses for my teenage daughters, They are home
schooled and I work eves. so we would have plenty of time to give TLC. We have
been preparing for over a yr. now and my daughters volunteer at a local
therapeutic horse farm as part of their preparation. We are all intermediate
riders and just love to trail ride. Most of all we are just looking for lifetime
friends that enjoy spending time outside together. Age is not really important
as long as they are healthy and rideable and calm 1-3 temperament. We would be
able to make payments if needed and would give a great home. We are located in Bowdoinham, Maine

I came onto your web site by accident . We are a family of horse lovers involved with the adoption and training of wild mustangs. Located in Estacada, OR. As BLM volunteers we have had over a dozen mustangs thru our barn. Keep up the good work. The horses need you!

Hello everyone!

I unfortunately ran into some financial problems and can no longer keep my horse. I am heartbroken to have to give him away, but I want to make sure that he goes to a good, loving home. For more information, please contact me at amedeiros1@umassd.edu. Thank you!
